Jihan is a Healthcare Professional, Group Facilitator, Trainer and Speaker with over 22 years of experience in customer service, patient satisfaction, sales, consulting and care management. Having established Davenport Senior Connections, LLC, in 2012, she currently operates as the company's Business Owner, Consultant and principal Care Manager. She also contracts with a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in DC and MD, as well as a host of industry professionals that fulfill her clients' every need.

 

She has obtained a Bachelor of Science in Health & Psychology, a Master of Science in Health Systems Management and an Elder Law Certificate. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and trained to administer MoCa testing. As well as a Dealing With Dementia Trainer for Caregivers and a Mental Health First Aider. 

 

She has worked in many industries within healthcare, starting at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, in her hometown of Cleveland Ohio, Johns Hopkins Medicine and MedStar hospital systems. Further, she has experienced professionally within Emergency Rooms, Stat Labs, Risk Management, Assisted Living Communities, Memory Care Units, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Palliative/Hospice Care and Substance Use Disorder programs for the elderly.

 

With her experiences, both professionally and personally, Jihan has naturally assumed this role, to ensure that families have assistance in navigating the ever-evolving healthcare system. Ultimately advocating for seniors and supporting their families.

 

Finally, Jihan is a professional member of the Aging Life Care Association (ALCA). Also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. focused on Physical and Mental Health.
